Located in Tacoma Park, MD, this 8,000 sqf. retail center is located on the campus of Washington Adventist University.
The university had made the decision to purchase the property, and after several years of owning it without developing it further, their property was stagnating and partially vacant.
We met with the facilities manager of the university and worked out a fair deal for the purchase of the property. We then leased the property to a State Farm office that had been in the neighborhood for 22 years, as well as a dry cleaner, a barber shop, and a restaurant/bar that will be opening soon.
The neighborhood is very happy to no longer have a vacant neighborhood retail center in their midst.
